I am looking for the etymology of the phrase "casting pearls before swine".
I believe it to be of biblical origin, but I am really looking for the
context of the phrase as well as meaning (today we think of it as meaning
wasting time and resources on someone or something that won't use or
appreciate it).
Any ideas, oh great fonts of knowledge out there?
