;-)

A friend of mine worked at the Science Center in West Hartford, CT. They
have a pair of mountain lions there, with a long caged run that parallels
the side walk.

One bright spring day, a random pair of 8 year olds was walking along the
fenceline...the cats carefully pacing along a few feet away, and about 10
feet behind them exhibiting that 'if only the fence wasn't there' look. You
could just see them running 'children recipes' through their minds ;-)

And then there was teh pair of tigers belonging to my father-in-law's friend
- GT ['great tiger'] and LT ['little tiger']. He still has a life size cut
out of himself wrestling with a standing LT - taller than he is. The guy
also owned the Mercury Cougar cat. I could see our house raising cubs for
petting zoos, although socializing wolves is more my forte;-)
margali - not sure if I am a wolf or a leopard.

the quote starts here:
Funny- Edouard and I were just talking about tigers last night- in
particular how one would be up in the tree, on the other side of the fence,
and fix on you that Look that meant "I could take you out with one paw if I
wanted to. You know it. I know you know it. And you know, that I know you
know it. And I choose not to. *YAWN*"

My Sweetie is a Siberian tiger at heart. 'Splains alot.

(I'm a panther. A nice sleek black one- pretty, but a little dangerous!)

'Lainie
