This kind of reminds me of the MardiGras in Italy, when they used to throw candies at people. Then they started throwing less expensive, imitation flour paste 'confetti', and then, eventually, the chopped paper we all know and love (snark) from ticker-tape parades. Just hearsay, of course. Devra
