Yes, I think so. The shell is where a lot of the flavor comes from.  Otherwise its just like cooking up a pot of peas or
beans. (Yes, I got desperate and tried this too....just doesnt work *sigh*)

BUT hey!

You guys where cheap raw peanuts on the shelf-- we can trade!  :)

We gots huckleberry wines and meads here..... tell me that ain't worth peanuts?!
