I've never heard this. I was basing my thoughts on documentaries and
National Geographic-type shows that I've seen on such tribes. Jungles
of South America, southeast Asia, etc. Maybe if I had read your
sources, my little throw-away idea would've turned out differently.

Hadn't heard this, either. Dictated by a higher quality of living,
maybe?

Compared to a rice paddy worker, not much. Right, that was kinda my
point. I have all this free time because I have money to trade for
convenient food and don't have to spend my day directly procuring said
food.
Like I said, it's just a theory. Theories can certainly be wrong.
