We toured throughout the country in 72, spent two 1/2 months on motorcycles.
Was awesome experience. We did not encounter allot of goat untill we were
in the northern regions and there that was about the staple for nearly all
meals, that and a thick chicken soup with unknown veggies:) They looked like
turnips but have never found out exactly what it was. I like the food but
goat got a little tiring:) Same thing in Tibet we were only there for 5
weeks wish I could have spent five yeras:)

Where in Nepal? Back in '91 is was down in the Chitwan by the Indian
border for three month and was mostly lentils, chicken, and veggies. I did
get to try some of the native deer and rhino.
