The latter.  Someone else on the list was making a mock threat to serve Marian haggis.  She replied that she liked haggis very much, but didn't think that it would be on the menu of any restaurant outside Scotland.  Since she's going to be in Manhattan for a few days in June, she said, "But if you know of any restaurants in NYC that have haggis on the menu, please let me know."  I don't think she expected to find any.

As for Bonnie Brae, thanks for the suggestion, but the timing is wrong.
