Really? I always thought statistics were post period. It would seem
like statistics would run counter to the ideas that God would sort
things out correctly as in the duel or judicial tournament.

Would you be interested in writing an introductory article on statistics
in period? I love to have this for the Florilegium.

Not about how to do the statistics. I had more than my fill of statistics
in University. The basic concepts are interesting, but within a week we
were using calculus in it and the fun disappeared.
