Are you talking about leaving as in "Oh, i'll decide to take a vacation" or
would you count leaving for war punishable by death (which it probably was
for some unlucky soldiers). During the Azuchi period (1568-1600; still in
period) Japan invaded and tried to conquer Korea and China,. but they failed.
Or are you talking about earlier (1100-1400?)? Your statement confused me
slightly.
