   Sugar companies located in western USA. C&H was "California and Hawaii" -
making the cane sugar understandable, while U&I was "Utah and Idaho" - home
of sugar beet farms (many owned and operated by the LDS church, as I and my
younger-sunburned-self can attest).
   I've been exiled to Virginia for years now though, so didn't know that
the brands had disappeared. Another piece of homesick comfort gone...
