Ohhhhhhhhh!  I am SO glad I read this instead of just deleting it..thinking
it was um.. a pie made of a pet...whatever!  Actually...not too far from the
"pet rock" craze of  many years back..but this one had an actual history!
What fun!  I wonder if Pet Pie will be willed to someone to carry on the
tradition?

etain...who remembers a friend whose family sent the same birthday card back
and forth to each other for years....
