It may be a synthesis, like the language we used when I was living in Papua
New Guinea...Melanesian Pidgin. It was a conglomerate of German, English
and Melanesian...so we got words/phrases like "haus bilong Got" for church,
"haus bilong sic" for hospital...and my favorite which I still use on
occasion, much to the frustration of those who don't understand, "Em i long
long tru"....He's crazy!
