[Sca-cooks] White Pepper Chocolate Chip cookies (oop)

Okay, here follows the recipe. The original ingredients are in italics.This
recipe is based on Mary Mikkiken & Sara Feniger's scooter cookie.

1/2 C raisins (currants)
2 TBSP Kahlua
2oz unsweetened chocolate
4oz (bittersweet) dark chocolate
3 TBPS butter
6 TBSP Flour
1/4 tsp baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt.
1/4 tsp cinnamon
(1/2 to 1 tsp cracked black pepper) INSTEAD I used 3/8 tsp of gr. white
pepper.
2 eggs
1/4 C sugar
1tsp vanilla
2/3 C choc. chips.

Preheat oven to 350.

warm raisins in Kahula in saucepan & let sit.
Melt butter, all chocolate, stirring frequently. Pour raisins and Kahula
into mix and warm it .set aside to cool.
mix all dry( except the sugar) ingredients in seperate bowl.
beat eggs & sugar together 5 min. Beat in vanilla. Pour melted chocolate
into this mix, (go slow and temper it) and fold to combine.
Fold in flour mixture (The dough should be loose)
Drop by spoonfuls onto (parchment lined) Greased aluminum foil covered
baking sheets.
Bake 8-10 (or 12) min. Till tops are shiny, puffed and slightly cracked. Let
cool 5 min., then transfer to racks.
Makes a lot (20+)
