I'd like to thank all the gentles of this list who have taught me so much about things SCA, Things Medieval, and especially Medieval Cooking. Special thanks to His Grace, Duke Cariadoc, to Master Adamantius, and to Lord Stefan for inspiring and encouraging me. Although he is no longer on the List, my thanks also to Lord Ras for teaching me that it is okay to express an opinion. There are so many of you who have graced my life with your bountiful knowledge and unending good cheer and wit, that it would be impossible for me to name you all, but know that I love you for it.

Somehow, while driving a portable hole, the fingers of my right hand got between the 6 lb hammer and the post of the portable hole. I still haven't quite figured out the mechanics of it, as I was holding the hammer in that hand at the time. The injury is not serious, but I am wearing a splint on my right pointer finger, and sporting a goshawful blood blister on the impolite finger.
