Actually, the funny thing is as Phlip and I were meandering back home from
the persian store [had to pick up the verjust for the event saturday] we
were eating baklava that was so conveniently displayed a tthe store and
ccommenting on how nice the real stuff is compared to the oozey gooey mass
we normally get served at events...

well, we also picked up lime juice, 'vegetables for coooking' which is a
herbal blend of IIRC basil, leek and parsley]and a big debate on whether or
not we should get another basirma 2x4, and the relative merits of canned
stuffed grape leaves.

Verjus isn't bad, $4.50 for 32 oz. Beats the normal price of $9 for 8 oz I
keep seeing in gourmet stores.
