I finally managed to buy a cheap copy of God's Banquet Food in Classical
Arabic Literature by Geert Jan Van Gelder. (I think I paid 7 dollars and
not the usual 40 from www.allbooks4less.com) No menus exactly, but
it's a great source for all the literary food and banquet mentions found
in poetry and tales. I think you might find it useful.
