Thank you, Stefan and Madhavi, the links you provided are really
useful.

As period or boundaries - primarily, I try to learn modern Czech
cuisine (from a big "česka kuchařka"), because it might happen that I
shall move to the Czech Republic in a few years.

But as a medievalist - I am interested in the "historical" food
Bohemians ate, and try to distinguish the neighbours' influences
(German, general-Slavic, Hungarian etc.) - well, at times Bohemians
and Hungarians had the same king, why not share also the food.

JaA> I did a feast that tried to be Hungarian last year, but a goodly portion of
JaA> my research and several of my recipes came from Food and Drink of Medieval
JaA> Poland by Maria Dembinska, and I'm pretty sure she talked about that area.
JaA> If you are interested in the feast and notes, I've got them on my website.

JaA> I'd love to find more sources or details myself. I've never seen it
JaA> discussed much. One problem is that the boundaries changed a bit
JaA> over time, so you might need to know where exactly you are talking
JaA> about, or also check other sources having to do with what are now
JaA> neighboring countries.
