[Sca-cooks] large dayboard feast: need advice from those who have done this before

That would be the understatement of the year. Show them beef and the
snouts and tails emerge. They will eat all the meat you let them have, and
ask for more.

Actually, cheese is less expensive than beef for the volume, and if the
goal is to have enough food and stay under budget, keeping the meat
numbers low is a plus. Fighters will eat 1-2 lbs of beef at a dayboard if
nobody hits them with a long spoon, and ignore all the inexpensive stuff.
I don't know how much kielbasa they will eat, but I wouldn't underestimate
their tendency to go right for the expensive stuff.

They don't pig out as much on cheese because they believe that it
will make them sick to eat cheese and eggs before they fight, and for
other sociological reasons.
