I am well aware that *in some kingdoms* there are traditional belt colors
for 'prents, proteges, and squires. It is not universal nor required. The
only SCA-wide reserved color is white for knights.

I was being silly, that's all. If I were a peer, I would give my ducklings
an orange belt. Everyone would know where they belong!

(My Sweetie does not care for beyoootiful colors, and insists on dull
blues, greens, greys. Sad. Very sad. He'd better hope I die first, or...
