Yes. KHTI (Kingdom Historical Trust, Inc.), an independent non-profit
corporation.

I dunno much... Perhaps i can get one of the officers i know to take a look...

The $60 goes to the Land Fund, not to me. I specified that the
"purchaser" would pay for the food. Apparently other cooks didn't and
paid for the food themselves. All i could think was, suppose the
"purchaser" wanted caviar, lobster, filet mignon, truffles (the
fungal kind), and crepes suzette...

Actually, i kinda know when, where, and what. It will be at an SCA
event in late October, for the out-going Cynaguan Principality
royalty and the food will be more Medieval Near Eastern. I'm a
Mistie; the purchaser, a Cynaguan, is a good friend of mine; and the
current Princess of Cynagua, who has a Near Eastern persona, is a
Mistie.

I want to try some recipes i haven't cooked before. I figure since
it's for a small group, i can make dishes that are more elaborate
than what i cook for feasts... small quantities of food take less
prep time, cook more quickly than giganto-pots full, and take up less
room in the fridge :-)

Side note:
There are 2 Principalities here in the Central West - The Mists and
Cynagua. We're really friendly and often folks from one attend the
events of the other. On more than one occasion, the Bard of Cynagua
has been a Mistie.

There's a Cynaguan award called "The Ugly Duckling". It's for
"Mist-placed" friends of Cynagua from outside Cynagua who perform
valuable service to that Principality. Folks may recall that the ugly
duckling turned out to be a swan, and the principal device in the
arms of Cynagua is a black swan.

There are couples who come from both Principalities and at least one
fights in Principality Coronets. While the winner has to be from the
Principality in which the Coronet is held, the consort can be from
another. This is not the first time there has been a
"mixed-Principality" couple on the throne of Cynagua - i don't know
about The Mists, but it's likely.
