Yes, I can see the King of the West (or was it Caid? I forget),
saying, "Jeez, I can't take you people _any_where!"

And yes, it also occurred to me that Drakey has taken _great pains_
to master his various arts, but I'm not sure that's what the average
SCA award scroll is referring to...

(and all I ever did was blow my own eyebrows off... and it weren't
even in a convection oven)

As for Drakey's Laurel, I can only say I'm very pleased, because
Drakey is among the most childishly-thrilled learners I've
encountered, and he clearly has the infectious thirst for knowledge
that a Laurel needs to have. (IMO.)
