That was cute. As you are the youngest member of your house, I guess you don't remember the old saying "When I'm good, I'm really good, but when I'm bad, I'M EVEN BETTER!! (Don't think mushrooms were the issue then, though.) he he

Subject: Morels as commercial shrooms SIDELINE OF Re: [Sca-cooks] mushrooms

Thank you so much for the concern. However, I would manage to pick a
toadstool and I know that. I buy my morels fresh, online, from a company
that, I believe, raises them. ($30 a lb. plus $20 ish in shipping IS pretty
steep, but when you're hooked, you're hooked!! :-) )
If anyone has any info on raising morels, I would really appreciate hearing
it. I am a BIG mushroom fanatic, and they are at the top of my list. I would
like to start growing them. In fact, I am 'tossing around' the
possibility/probability of raising several types of mushrooms, commercially.
What do any of you think about that?
YIS,
Isabella, who is going to have to have shrooms today, after all of this talk

My grandparents used to hunt for morels each year and were very
experienced, yet even they managed once to get something else mixed in
by accident. They were lucky in that they only spent a night vomiting
and having hallucinations.
