uh. i have a good one, but it is NOT period.......you didnt indicate if it
matters.....

take peices of cooked boneless poultry..........(or Vegetarian protein
source)
place on a bed of seasoned noodles and lentils..... or noodles and green
peas if you prefer.... or rice and veggie slivers.... i include MY recipes
for all three below.

i think the presentation of the RICE and Veggie slivers in red bell pepper
halves (or squash. or whatever) is really dressy

top with a very light amount of grated cheese. (note, even the Vegetarian
cheese substitutes work)
bake until the cheese melts and "glues" the ingredients together
cut/divide into appropriate serving sizes.. do it just as though you are
cutting cake slices!!!
serve

makes good emergency buffet food. very tasty. and can be dressed up with a
pretty garnish on each slice......
i made radish roses for one dinner... just a sprig of parsley for
another.... it was VERY dressy.

for some reason it lookes dressier when you bake it in a pie pan and cut
wedges than if you cut squares.....

************Recipes***********
(look, this is the way i liked them. feel free to change them.)

NOODLES AND LENTILS
cook some egg noodles (this also works with those mini lasagna things)
cook 1/3 that amount of lentils in a broth with spices (i used what i had in
the house)
when the lentils are mostly done add some slivered vegetables (i used
carrots, and red bell peppers, but thats because i wanted some color in it)
mix and cook together until most of the liquid is gone or strain if needed
make a smooth base in a baking dish, layer your chicken on top and grate
cheese onto it
melt the cheese THOUROUGHLY as it is the binding agent.
let cool until it firms up a bit
cut and serve

NOODLES AND PEAS
cook small dressy noodles (bowties work great)
cook peas
optional, cook some wild rice mixture
mix together
add spice if desired.
follow recipe as above to layer and add cheese if serving buffet style.

RICE AND VEGGIE SLIVERS
cook rice
cook any long cooking vegetables (onions, peas, carrots) until tender
sliver the veggies into the rice and mix
(i add slivered red bell peppers, and greens)
(aim for a colorful mix. like confetti!)

follow directions above BUT.. to really make a smash presentation. serve
these instead in a cooked bell pepper half! looks great.. and people think
its hard or something.
just roast a red bell pepper lightly, and pack this stuff into it.. top with
cheese if desired...
put on a bake tray and melt the cheese..
