Woo Hoo, hooray for Misha!  I don't remember what instrument you play though.

Isabella:  Your student plays cello in marching band?  Shades of Woody Allen in "Take The Money And Run"!  As I recall, technically,  a "band" does not have
a string section, an "orchestra" does.

25 years ago, I'm allowed to brag, I won a band prize in the very last year of high school, probably for speed learning  3rd Cornet.  Took it up over the
summer and was good enough by fall to make the band.  Whee.  Here's a prank for you:  When the group is in the middle of changing into uniforms, stick your
head in the room and say "Hey, you in the blue[or whatever] jacket!"  With God as my witness, we ALL turned around.
