    Besides, you really need to be cooking for at least 50 to make a whole
Manatee worthwhile, as I hate throwing out perfectly good meat. There's a
lot shrinkage on a Manatee because of the layer of fat. Pretty tasty, too -
they don't call 'em 'Sea Cow' for nothing.
    Hunting them is disgustingly easy, though. You get in a power boat, and
just cruise around at high speed until you hear a loud >thump<. Then you
circle back to see if it's dead or you have to finish it off . . . The trick
is to get it cleaned and in your cooler before the game wardens show up.
