[Sca-cooks] subcontracting dayboards/meals

I've done this for Baroness' Teas - which is a much smaller scale than the
average dayboard, but similar, as far as I can tell (we don't have dayboards
in my part of Atlantia, usually).  Works pretty well as long as everyone
shows up... so as long as the people are reliable...

Question for the assembled: has anyone tried a variety of 'subcontracting'
meals-- where one person makes up the list and gets various cooks to be
each responsible for preparing/bringing one dish? How practical is this?
I'm thinking of it for a dayboard.
