[Sca-cooks] OT:cedar chest question

First I apologize for asking this on a cooking list, although if the oil I 
am suppose to use could be made by me then maybe it really is 
cooking?  (Neat stretch huh?)  I know that many of us on the list have 
other interests besides cooking.

I just bought my first auction item ever which is a finished solid cedar 
chest.  It looks like it has a little dirt/something else on it.  What 
should I use to clean it and/or polish it up?
