Funny, Marged just asked me that and here's what I said:
I hurt my hand sometime when I was unconcious with an asthma attack.  It was 
kinda funny cuz after they took the IV out of the back of my hand and sent 
me back to camp (about 10 hours after it started) the back of my hand got 
all bruised and swelled.  The next morning the pad of my thumb got all 
bruised and swollen and was much worse by the following day.  I got a lift 
up to medic point and they sent my to the back of the tent to see the EMT's. 
  It turned out they were the same ones who helped me before.  When they 
asked how I did it I said I didn't know, at which point the one fellow bust 
out laughing and said he bet he knew.  I apparently tried to punch out the 
sides of the ambulance because I couldn't breath.  Said he did some pretty 
quick dodging to avoid getting hurt.  I sound so charming when I'm out of 
it...  Anyway, I went back to the ER to get an exray and they said my thumb 
didn't appear broken and suggested I get a follow up when I got home.  My 
doc made an appointment for me at the hand center, so there I go next week 
thursday.
