A Contest of Culinary Excellence

To be held at Ice Axe, College of Yarnvid, February 14th

As this event allows open fires and other heating devices (outdoors) and
happens to occur on the modern celebration of St. Valentine's Day

I propose a contest of cooking skills and merit.

Contest #1 Shall be for the best overall completion of one or more
period dishes. Each entrant, with no more than 2 helpers, shall present
one or more dishes as an entry to display their period cooking prowess,
knowledge, and methods. Entrants will be judged on a basis of
documentation, source materials, methodology, presentation, and finally
taste. Each entry will be awarded points for period materials or
reproductions, prepared in a period manner, with period tools, from
period sources, etc. 100 pts possible.

Contest #2 Shall be for the most pleasing entry as judged by
personal senses (taste, sight, smell)

Either contest entry may contain one or more dishes as an entry. Each
entrant many only present one entry. Any consumable, by digestion,
products are acceptable. Each entrant may have up to 2 people helping.
Any entry may contain dishes prepared on-site or off-site. Entries will
be submitted by 4:00 PM on the day of the event. No advanced entry
information is required. All entries will be judged by me and whomever
else I choose. The judges decision is absolute and final.
