Halachacicly speaking, one always washes ones hands before the blessing over the meal, because one would approach the blessing/ meal in a *clean* state. (This meaning, symbolic, not cleanliness.

And if you wanted to do Jewish *schictk* bread would be involved... but then again bread= the prayer over the bread... and that wouldn't go over in the SCAdian world.. Yes? No?
