Thank you all very much! I especially enjoyed finding out that the
advice I gave on granulation was of such use to myself. I am still wearing
the pendant as I sit here typing the thanks out to my friends who made the
various parts of my award & to those who felt I was worthy.
A big special patented Olaf Hug to Lady Ceandra who made the pendant as
well as to her husband Master Adamantius & an unnamed son who help her with
the construction! I really love the medallion & I am still wearing it. I
was totally shocked & delighted to receive it! I am sitting here still
wearing it!
A very special thanks to Baroness Caitlyn Mackkenzie for the wonderful
job of calligraphy she did on my scroll. Another one for Lady Safia
al-Khanasaa' for the illumination that she did in such an appropriate style.
I will be getting the scroll framed to add to my wall of fame & beauty.
Thank you for the wonderful scroll that I have propped up so I can see it on
my desk.
Thanks to Mistress Thora Sharptooth for watching my Granddaughter,
Daryan, while the Queen had me kneeling. It is amazing how many of my
oldest friends can keep secrets from me. I hope your apprentice, Alistrina,
enjoys the medallion I made for her as much as the one I received. I am
still wearing it, by the way, Daryan likes the medallion too, she might have
like the scroll as well but I kept it safely out of her reach.
Thanks to the Queen, King & the Order Members for feeling I deserved
this honor. I will try to live up to the duties of the Order. I guess I
better start getting the classes put together for me to teach at Pennsic.
Pax,
Olaf of Trollhiemsfjord, OM
Baron of the Court of the East
