My outgoing/plain-text messages are set to wrap at 72. I don't know if
that's ever been a problem or not (don't think I post many links...)
Some of yours, though, are cutting off before they get to your magic
number of 74.  At least that's what it looks like--sometimes, the line
with the link is shorter than the other lines in your message.
