i dunno if this is useful.. BUT

i am a dollhouse and miniature fan.. and there are some sources that use
*primary documentation* of things like embroidery.. and then re create it
for miniatures.. but they do base it on actual garments and on actual
bedcovers etc...

well lately i have been seeing some books that are advertising about
re-creating period (and some of it is in OUR period) feasts, shops,
kitchens, etc for dollhouses... i havent yet gotten the books, so i dont
know how great the documentation is.. but it might be worth a look...
