I wonder what translation these recipes are from.  Unless he's changed
some of the English titles, they're not from Flower & Rosenbaum or
Edwards or "A Taste of Ancient Rome".  Vehling, mebbe?

Come to think of it, I remember when this lady posted these recipes to
rec.food.historic.  She took them from a German translation of Apicius,
and rendered them into English.
