I am hoping the local cooks (or the appreciative feasters) might be able to help me learn more about this area we are moving to.

Where are the favorite food shopping places around area?  (I am trying to learn where the good stuff is in hopes of finding a place to live near by.)

Where are the good farmer's markets and ethnic markets?
Community Gardens?
What's really frugal for small and large feasts?

What's worth a road trip to PA, VA, or DC for unusual or especially wonderful ingredients?
