i am asking for some advice....
as most of you know i sell reflecive trim ('cause i don't want you all
getting hurt!)
and i am in the process of having some custom made.

the *objective* is trim that will be a bit more period looking for SCA and
Rennaisance fairs, but still reflective. obviously i also sell it to non
SCA etc etc...

i can have them apply the reflective stripe (s) to cotton twill, or to
Polyester grossgrain ribbon.

the twill is 3/4 inches wide.. 40 colors (it is currently up on my webpage)
the grossgrain is available in 7/8, 1 1/2, 21/4 or 3 inch widths......
available in 92 colors!!!! but not all colors are available in all widths.
the majority are available in the 7/8 or 1 1/2 inch size

i can have a single stripe down the middle in 3/16th of an inch...
or (and this is the tricky part) i can get TWO stripes, in either 1/8 or
3/16 down the ribbon

so... would the difrence between 1/8h or 3/16th mean much to you in those
available sizes?

if you were going to put this on your clothes (or your kids) would you want
one stripe. or two spaced stripes???? which would look better to your
eyes???

HELP. having this done means a considerable investment in time, money and
storage space.. so i have to get this right........

yes, by all means pass this on if you know people who can help... and if
you feel a reply is only relevent to me, please reply off list. otherwise
have fun chatting it up!....
