I haven't built bellows, or a forge, but I did build
an oven:

It got hot.  REALLY hot.  I've no doubt this sort of
design could get up to forging or even smelting
temperatures with bellows (and maybe coal or coke.)
Or used as a kiln.


(No, nothing has been cooked in it yet, sadly.  This
summer looks promising, though.)
