Well, maybe I've just been lucky, or maybe some people are just hyper
sensitive to the appropriate bugs, but I have never refrigerated cooked rice
since I was taught how to make it the right way by an Asian lady. I usually
make myself a pot, use half for my meal, and frequently leave it out until
the next morning, when I have it for brealfast, usually with butter and
pepper or other interesting spices, and I've never had a problem. And, I eat
a lot of rice, and have been doing this for years, just as my teacher taught
me.

I'm really beginning to think that much of this food poisoning stuff is
emphasized, along with allergies, because people are so used to eating
over-processed foods. Now that I know this can be a problem, I'll make sure
that any rice I serve others is kept properly, just as I'm now more aware of
various allergens, to which I am also not subject...

But, next pot I make, will likely receive my usual treatment, unless I know
it's not going to be used for longer thana day.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.

And never a rider who cain't be throwed....
