[Sca-cooks] Question about Camp Food

one of my tricks is my"magic bucket".
if the event is less then 2 hrs. from home,i get up
early and do a soup or stew type thing y and right
before leaving put it in a 3 gal.water cooler.i brace
this in the van and wrap it with a blanket.
the food keeps cooking all the way there.
it works so well that if I'm39;m going to add pasta or
rice i bring it precooked and add it on sI'vei've
added both dry at home and they cooked to mush before
i get to the event.
it impresses the household when they ask how long tell
dinner and you open the jug, and throw the rising
steam say"oh ,about now"
