OK, folks, I counted the votes, and all but one of them was for Tuesday,
so...

SPCA camp invites all members of SCA-Cooks List to a Knowne Worlde Cooks
Potluck on Tuesday, August 12 at SPCA camp, in W10, near Orluk Oasis. All
are welcome- please bring a dish and personal feast gear, as well as
personal potables beyond iced tea, or whatever else we might come up with.

We will provide space and shelter, some warming/cooling capacity, and
transport or assistance with transport IF YOU LET US KNOW by Monday night.
Personal seating is a good thing ;-)

All are welcome, with or without a dish, so try to bring extra if you can. A
period dish, with a recipe and minimal docs, is encouraged (we'll all be
interested- after all, we're Cooks ;-) but certainly not required.
Certainly, we'll ask for an ingredient list for our allergics, but we can
also mark things "No ingredient list available". This time, I'm going to
particularly ask our vegetarians to provide a dish or two they'd like to see
at feasts, preferably, a good, solid entree type thing, and help the rest of
us make our feasts more vegetarian friendly.

Next question:

Should we extend the invitation to other Lists? In the past year, three have
started up that I can think of-- EK-Cooks Guild, Trimaris Cooks, and SCA
Food and Feasts. I'm thinking that these newr groups haven't gotten
themselves in a position to socialize yet, and inviting them to our Potluck,
and helping them get started is part of our responsibility as the top Cook's
List in SCA. What say you all?
