The people of the First Crusades conquered Jerusalem and made a terrible
slaughtering but they grounded several kingdoms and counties, Edessa, Aleppo,
Jerusalem. After twenty or thirty years they started relationships with the
Arabs neighboors kingdoms and they started to exchange knowledge. When the
Second and the Third Crusades come to the Middle East they accused the barons
and people from the First Crusades for being "assimilated" and weak. Many of
the Crusades who came in the first wave had adopted arabs uses (as the bath)
and their cuisine had got many influences from the region (the herbs, the use
of spices, etc).
