[Sca-cooks] Spanish Marmalad

I have to wonder if this was a marmalad that was served as part
of a feast or banquetting course.
I own the full set of Elynor Fetiplace recipes (Bristol, U.K. 1999
for the volume 3) and this recipe is included in the section on
medicinal recipes. Recipes directly preceeding and after it include:
For a sore Brest.; For a pin and web in the eye.; The Lady
Barklyes receipte for an old sore.; To destroy wormes.;
To make Spanish marmalad.; To pickell Samphire.; For Cold
Rhumes in the head.
