Sure.  While the statement was made in partial jest, there is at least one
documented complaint (presumably from a skilled artisan and guild member,
probably bogus and meant to bolster social stratification, in my opinion)
about workmen not being able to work as well on fine bread and desiring
coarser bread for their meals.  Obviously, if the judge requires coarser
bread, the judge is echoing the sentiments of the laboring class rather than
that of the nobility and is therefore not a noble.

Incidents such as this, where the judge does not have the knowledge to
properly address a subject and does not realize it, are part of the reason I
find most SCA A&S comjpetitions a joke.
