Thanks to the links you gave me, I was able to find menu ideas that can be
done in a camp setting. What was interesting to find was that for all but
two of them (bratfurst & wurtzen gemuse) I had that recipes with volume
amounts in an old hand written German cookbook created by the ladies of a
Germany town many many years ago.
Here is what I've decided to make (excuse the spelling I'm doing this from
memory, left menu at home).
Fuer Gebacken Rindfliesh (Fire Roasted Beef)
Bratfurst (German Sausages)
Gebacken Wurtzen Gemuse (Roasted Root Vegetables)
Curken Salate (Cucumber Salad)
Rotkol (Red Cabbage)
Zweiblen & Knoblauch (Onions & Garlic)
Swatze Brot (Bread)
Butter
Erbbern Tortenboden (Starwberry Tart)
Spritzgeback (Cookies with almonds)
I will put the recipes themselves up later if anyone wants them.
In Service,
Cera
