[Sca-cooks] Sapphire Joust

When you say Serengeti style do you mean open fields and lots of heat? That's one of the things I liked about Brady Saunders, it was all woods. I've looked at the flyer. I guess I'll wait for a report of the site for next year before I decide to drive the 12 hours up there.

It's not at Brady Saunders any more. Lost the site after some woman yelled
rape after a drunken night. Had some poor bloke arrested. Don't know the
outcome of that but I saw the group on and off throughout the night
and...well...I will reserve my opinion on the subject.
Same event though. For the last several years it was held here and there
with no really good place so I stopped going. This is another boyscout camp
and is being advertized as Serengeti style. Here is a link to the online
flyer: http://acorn.atlantia.sca.org/0305/sapphire.htm Countess Mary Grace
has been keeping a log on what parties are when. She is putting together a
"luau" and has a lineup of quality to be the dancers, complete with coconut
bras! It is a fundraiser for the Kingdom travel fund. I believe she has
raised over $800 so far. The things people will pay for...knights and
Counts in coconuts...
