[Sca-cooks] Proud and bragging (OT?) And Pearls...

I saw a documentary not too long ago on Discovery or one of those channels that said that pearls were often ground up and used in medicine. I cant remember the names of the ailments that they used them specifically for, but one of them was caused by a lack of calcium and in that case the pearls actually would have cured or helped the condition.
