I gotta try this…

"2 All Beef Pattie, Special Sauce, Lettuce, cheese, pickles onion, all on
   Sesame Seed Bun."

I have to agree with Gunthar's interpretation of this as a sort of
ploughman's lunch, although not necessarily Arabic in origins or influence.

"Pattie" in this case is probably a scribal error. The intended term here
is no doubt "pastie", as in meat pie. The Special Sauce is probably a
galantine or peverade, baked in with the meat to balance the humors. Lettuce
and pickled onion both aid the digestion, and cheese to close the chest and
stop up the stomach at the end. "Sesame seed bun" is a poser; we may have
another scribal or editorial error. The author may have actually written
(pai)n, and the editor misread it as (bu)n. This may be a trencher supplied
by the workman's master to catch the drippings from the food. The sesame
seeds can be interpreted as evidence of the master's extravagance.

Two meat pies, pickled onions, lettuce, and cheese, on a trencher.
Bada-bing.

Vicente
(hmm... lunchtime!)
