just go easy on the onions, high glycemic veggie...hence the sweet taste 
and ability to be carmelized...grin

tonight i think we are doing spinach  with bacon and balsamic 
vinegar...tomorrow is a full out sauerbraten, potato knudeln and carrots 
with a nice tossed salad=)
