Whoo-hoo, have i had on my travellin' shoes or what!

I just got back from the Known World Costume Symposium in Denver a
couple hours ago (i left home at 0:dark:30 Thursday AM - spent a
night in Salt Lake City with generous SCA folks who put up a couple
complete strangers - got into Denver around Noon:30 Friday -
volunteered 4 hours on Friday PM and Saturday AM - did the Symposium
thing the rest of Sat and Sun - left Denver around 5 AM my home time
yesterday - spent the night in a hotel-casino in Sparks NV ($29.95 a
night for 1 to 4 people (there were 2 of us), and a $1.99 breakfast
of 3 eggs, 2 pieces of sausage or bacon, hash browns and toast), with
a stop in Sacramento CA around noon to unload some stuff for a friend
before finally getting to my place on the cusp of Oakland,
Emeryville, and Berkeley a couple hours ago.

Ennawhoo, again i managed to meet all sorts of folks, including a
bunch from this list.

I was pleased to make face to face acquaintance with Johnnae, Maggie
MacD., and Devra (who took a buncha my money for a buncha cooks
books... what else :-). If there were others, either my brain is
still numb from all the driving or i didn't meet you.

I'm still trying to catch up with 800 e-mails (not counting the lists
i read on-line only). And i hadn't quite caught up with my mail from
after Great Western War, so i may have some rather delayed responses
to the list...
