I'm sure Anahita can comment more in depth on her interpretation of this
phrase in the original, but the result was a rustic crepe-like cooked egg
mixture on top of the dish.

If memory serves me right, there were three varieties of apple: Red
Delicious, Granny Smith, and Gala.
